SHOP SUSTAINABLE. SHOP RESPONSIBLE. SHOP WITH A PURPOSE.

Repurpose is a nonprofit organization that utilizes the resale of luxury items to raise funds and develop programs to support the health and wellbeing of women and families, empower women through mentorship and workforce opportunities, and provide conscious-minded communities with opportunities to contribute to a more sustainable world.

#shoprepurpose

"Repurpose is a place to do good by shopping sustainable and giving to charties that help women and families. It's such an honor to a part of the community"

Joyce Li from Workforce Development

Repurpose has raised over a hundred thousand dollars for women and children-focused charities, provided mentorship and job placement opportunities for first-generation college graduates, students, and women in need, built a community of purpose-driven people and organizations, and contributed to the circular economy by repurposing thousands of items of clothing.

End of Year Letter from our Founder Jessie Freschl

This May, Repurpose Wardrobe opened up a long term pop up in a vacant storefront, slated for demolition, on Madison Avenue. Over these 7 months we proved that our community, woven together by the philanthropic passing on of finelycrafted clothing, can make a difference. From donors to sustainable shoppers, each one played a role in uplifting someone less fortunate. In addition to generating $268K in net revenue, we provided job opportunities and a mentorship program to first generation college students interested in sustainable fashion. Repurpose’s 2021 sales of donated luxury clothing has allowed us the ability to allocate $80,000 in grants to Win, NAMI NYS, and WCK.
