Girls Inc. of New York City's mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. We love their approach of being integrated, positive, and developmentally appropriate. They go against the deficit model which bombards girls with what not to do, they encourage girls to say yes to exciting challenges, growth-encouraging risks, and valuable new experiences.
